Resentment Against People

Resentment is like taking poison and hoping the other person dies. — St. Augustine

Words Get Back to You

The boss spoke harshly to one of his employees, making him mad. Arriving home, the employee had a nasty word for his wife. She yelled at the son. The son kicked the dog. In the yard, the dog bit the boss who had come to apologize for his harsh word.[1]

Resentment is a sinful emotional response to others or to circumstances caused by envy or a sense of injustice.

Read Proverbs 3:11-12 and Proverbs 5:12
